AIMS
  •  To produce a net increase in membership each year.
  •  To make an annual donation to the National Seniors Foundation or other worthy charitable organization.
  • To provide subsidized activities for all Branch members where appropriate.
  • To ensure that every edition of the Branch newsletter is forwarded to every Branch member and to others where appropriate.
  • To ensure that the Branch is always financially viable.
  • To ensure that the Branch is always represented at Zone and other NSA meetings and activities to which it is  invited.
  • To ensure that regular contact is maintained with all other Branches in Zone 106, and Zone 121 where appropriate.
  • To investigate all long term absentees and resignations from the Branch and take any necessary remedial action.
  • To create and maintain as many avenues as is possible for all Branch members to actively participate in the functioning of the Branch.
  • To provide yearly programs of activities for members' ongoing information and enjoyment.
  • To contribute to the development of NSA policies, and to the overall development of NSA.
  • To make the Branch and its activities known at every possible opportunity through all appropriate means.
 
OBJECTIVES
 
  1. To increase Branch membership by at least 10% over that as at 1st. January 2011.
     2.  To ensure that accurate Branch membership records are maintained throughout the year.
  1. To make an appropriate donation to the National Seniors Foundation or other worthy charitable organization by 1st. December 2012.
  1. To ensure that every edition of "KNOCKS" ABOUT KNOX, along with all relevant notices, is sent by email or post to every Branch member, to all other Branches in Zones 106 and 121, and to all other relevant people.
  1. To ensure that a twelve month program of Branch activities is prepared and distributed to each Branch member throughout 2012.
  1. To organize monthly activities throughout 2012.
  1. To ensure that the 2012 Aims and Objectives are ratified at the November 2011 Branch General Meeting.
  1. To establish and maintain relationships with Knox City Council and with local Commonwealth and State members of Parliament on behalf of NSA.
  1. To undertake a seniors-based community project possibly in conjunction with Knox City Council.
 
The President shall report progress in achieving each Aim in general and each Objective specifically to General Meetings on a regular basis.
